  • AP testing will begin on Monday, May 7 and will run through May 18. (Teachers, please consult your email for a list of students.)  We are administering 11 tests.  It is important that students are prompt to their testing site in the library, along with all their testing tools.  Once admitted into the testing site, students will not be able to leave until the completion of the test.  We will be conducting a Pre-Administration in the LGI on May 1st promptly at 8:45 A.M.  If there are any questions please see Guidance.
  • Seniors who have at least 6 semesters of Spanish classes that average out to an A-, 3.667 will be given an honor cord to wear at graduation, but only if a transcript is turned in to Mrs. Younes in room 311 by the end of this week.
  • PROM WILL BE HELD AT THE CENTURY CENTER ON MAY 11th FROM 8:00 P.M. – 12:00 P.M. TICKETS ARE $25.00 AND ARE AVAILABLE IN THE TREASURER’S OFFICE THROUGH THURSDAY, MAY 10TH.TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. ALL OBLIGATIONS TO RILEY MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO PURCHASE A TICKET.THIS INCLUDES MONEY OWED TO THE RILEY TREASURER’S OFFICE, RILEY LIBRARY, AND CAFETERIA.ANYONE TAKING A NON-RILEY GUEST MUST PICK UP A PERMISSION SLIP IN THE TREASURER’S OFFICE.THE DEADLINE FOR THE SIGNED AND RETURNED PERMISSION SLIP IS MONDAY, MAY 7.
  • Sport Physicals will be held at Riley, May 30th at 2:45 P.M. in the main gym. The cost is $20.00 and your physical will be good for all of next school year. Athletes may pick up a physical form in the athletic office.
  • There are postings for summer jobs available to students 16 years and older in the guidance office. 
  • Two $1000 RILEY HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS will be awarded to two graduates of the Class of 2018.To apply for the $1000 scholarship, please check the scholarship bin in the Guidance Office. A list of criteria needed to apply is also available from any senior teacher and in the treasurer’s office.The deadline for applications is this Friday, May 4th.
  • Students can order yearbooks online at jostens.com or see Ms. Emkow to reserve your book. Yearbooks are $68 each.
  • Ivy Tech will be here for an onsite College Visit May 9th from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
  • On May 4th, Riley High School is hosting a picnic for fall, winter, and spring athletes at the softball game at 5:00 P.M. You must have been an athlete this year to attend this event. There will be hamburgers and hotdogs. Get your tickets in the athletic office starting Monday, April 30th.
  • Anyone wanting to volunteer for the Champions Together Track Clinic here at Riley High School, please meet for further information on Wednesday, May 2nd in room 307 immediately after school.This will be a brief meeting.
