• PICTURE PACKAGES ARE IN!  IF YOU ORDERED PICTURES AUGUST 16 OR 19, PLEASE SEE YOUR ENGLISH TEACHER TO PICK UP YOUR PHOTOS!
• GRADES 9 – 11 WILL HAVE PICTURE RETAKE DAY ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19.  STUDENTS WILL BE CALLED ALPHABETICALLY TO THE AUDITORIUM.   PICTURE RETAKE DAY INCLUDES:
  1. ANY STUDENT WHO DID NOT HAVE A PICTURE TAKEN AUGUST 16 OR AUGUST 19 AND WOULD LIKE TO BE PICTURED IN OUR YEARBOOK. YOU MAY ALSO PURCHASE A PICTURE PACKAGE THAT DAY.
  2. ANY STUDENT WHO BOUGHT A PICTURE PACKAGE AND NEEDS A RETAKE DUE TO PHOTOGRAPHER ERROR.  YOU MUST RETURN YOUR COMPLETE PICTURE PACKAGE TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER THAT DAY.
  3. ANY STUDENT WHO HAD A PICTURE TAKEN AUGUST 16 OR 19 BUT DID NOT PURCHASE A PACKAGE AND WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE ONE WITH A NEW PHOTO.
• SENIORS!!! YEARBOOK PICTURE DAY: Any senior who did not have a picture taken this summer by Images Unlimited will have one last chance to be photographed (here at Riley) and pictured in the yearbook. On Thursday, September 19 seniors can be photographed for a $5.00 sitting fee. Three photos will be taken.  Seniors wanting to participate in this last photo session must sign up in the Treasurer’s Office BY WEDNESDAY AND get a pass from Mrs. Weisser to attend.
• The Riley drama department will hold auditions for the fall play "The Case of Alex Hansen" today and tomorrow at 4:00 in the auditorium.  All Riley students are welcome and encouraged to audition!  Rehearsals will take place after school daily until the show which will be presented on Oct. 24th, 25th, and 26th at 7:00 PM.
• Who doesn’t love the great taste of Chick-fil-A?

  It’s time for our yearly Chick-fil-A challenge with Washington High School. Eat at the south side Chick-fil-A from now through this Friday (September 20^th) and tell them to put your receipt in Riley’s box! The school with the highest sales total at the end of the week wins CASH for their school’s athletic department! 

• Quiz Bowl will have its organizational meeting this Wednesday after school at 4:15 in room 417.  Our season starts on October 9.  All students are welcome.  Freshman are especially welcome and needed. 
• Riley’s National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will take place on Monday, September 23rd at 7pm in the auditorium. Inductees need to be present by 6:30.
