- The Riley symphonic orchestra and choirs will be presenting a holiday concert on Monday, December 9th at 7 P.M. in the auditorium. The admission is $3/adults, $2/students grades 7-12, 6th grade and under free, and $10 for a family. There will be lots of great holiday music and a sing-along! Please come enjoy an entertaining evening and support the Riley fine arts department!
- HOLIDAY COLORING CONTEST!! Students and teachers! Pick up your stocking from the attendance office, design it to match your personality, and return to the attendance office by 9am on Thursday, December 12th. Winners get prizes!
- Any Juniors interested in JAG have the option to join the class for the Spring semester. JAG will teach you job prep skills and college readiness. Come to room 407 to talk to Mrs. Balliet about how JAG can expand your opportunities!
- Girls’ Basketball will play John Glenn tonight. The JV will start at 6:00 PM and varsity will follow. If you bring a hat, mittens, or gloves your admission to the game is just $2.00. We are supporting the mitten and hat tree here at Riley. Come cheer on Girls’ Basketball and help keep a kid warm this winter.

- Candy Cane Grams are back! Purchase a Candy Cane gram for a friend next week before school or during lunch. They only cost $1 and will be delivered to first hour teachers the Tuesday before break. Make your friends' holidays extra sweet with a Candy Cane Gram!
- Baseball workouts resume December 10! Come see Coach DeDario in Room 315 for the December schedule. Reminder that you need your physical, insurance money and family ID registration completed before you can come out.
- Track conditioning is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the winter from 4:15-5:30!
