  • SENIORS:  The IUSB financial aid office is hosting a couple of workshops to assist students and families with filing the 2024-2025 FAFSA before the April 15th state deadline. If you can’t make it to the workshops, you can call the IUSB office at (574) 520-4357 to make an appointment for FAFSA assistance.

     

  • Congratulations to the 7th ranked Riley softball team on their 5th straight victory with a win over Goshen 10-0. The wildcats were led by Kaelynn Howell who threw a no-hit shutout. Lexington Jenkins had 3 hits and Tory Harmon had 2 doubles. The softball team travels to Washington tonight for a 5:30 start.

     

  • SENIORS! Panoramic pictures have been delivered.  If you purchased a picture, please pick it up in the treasurer’s office. Two extra pictures were delivered.  If you are still interested in purchasing one the cost is $16, first come/first served.

     

  • KGT will meet today from 3:45-5:30 in the Cafeteria.

     

  • Permission slips for the Annual Sisterhood Conference must be turned in by this Friday, April 12th in the counseling office. See Ms. Richards or Ms. Wilson if you have questions.

     

  • Seniors, your last payment for the Senior Trip is due Thursday, April 18th. Some of you did not make your second payment, so payment in full must be made by that day to attend the trip. Permission slips must also be turned in to get on the bus. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Knappenberger. 

     

  • Support the Hoosier Poet Yearbook by indulging in some gourmet popcorn from Double Good!  For FOUR DAYS ONLY, you can purchase Double Good popcorn and make it a part of your favorite series binging or movie night! With your support, Yearbook will receive 50% of the proceeds to help in the printing of our spring supplement that is included with this year's yearbook. Double Good has all your favorite flavors from basic butter to various combinations of cheese, caramel, and spicy!   • It’s not too late to purchase your $10 pre-sale tickets for the Port-a-Pit Chicken fundraiser right here in our Riley parking lot on Monday.  Chickens may also be purchased with cash that day and will be available starting at 3:00pm.   Pre-sale tickets will be good until 5:30pm. Please see the athletic department to purchase tickets.   The varsity softball game vs Bremen will begin at 6:00 that evening!

The yearbooks are payable with cash, money order, or card for a small fee. Deposits will be accepted with full payments due at the time of distribution at the end of the year.

Chloe Whitmer had 2 hits and Lucy Franko scored 2 runs to help Riley Softball to the victory. Please come out and support the team Monday vs Bremen at 6pm

  • Congratulations to the #3 ranked Riley softball team on their victory over #5 ranked Bremen last night 5-3. The Wildcats record improved to 7-0. Last night they were led by Yana Clemons who had 2 hits and Lucy Franko who scored 2 runs. Our next game is tomorrow at 5:30 at Adams. 

  • The Athletic department still has Port-A-Pit chicken. Chickens are $7 and potatoes are $ 3. Please come see the athletic department to purchase chicken and/or potatoes today only.

  • Congratulations to the third ranked Lady Wildcat’s softball who continued their winning ways last night with a 20-0-win vs. concord. They were led by Kaelynn Howell who threw a 1 hit shutout and Lexington Jenkins who had 2 doubles and a homerun. The softball team travels to Kokomo tonight to play in the Kokomo invitation this weekend.

  • Two Scholarships worth $250/each will be awarded to two graduates of the Class of 2024. The scholarships will be presented at the Senior Awards Assembly.  Criteria needed to apply is in the treasurer’s office, the guidance office, and also in the main office. The deadline for completed paperwork is Friday, May 10th.

     

  • The last pep assembly for this school year will be held tomorrow morning for our Unified Sports in support of Special Olympics!  Students will be called to the main gym before the assembly.
