  • Seniors.....The second payment for the Senior Trip of $50 is due by Friday, March 22nd. You are welcome to just pay the $50 or the remaining amount. You must have a permission slip on file before you can get on the bus. Please get those to Mrs. Knappenberger as soon as possible. If you need a permission slip, stop by Mrs. Knappenberger's room #405 and get one. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Knappenberger.

     

  • Please help support the Riley Athletic department by purchasing a ticket for Port-a-Pit chicken! Chickens are $10 each. The event will be held right here in the Riley parking lot. The new date for the event will be Monday, April 15th. Chickens will be available starting at 3:00pm.Pre-sale tickets are good until 5:30pm that day. Please see a spring athlete or the athletic department for your tickets. The varsity softball game vs Bremen will begin at 6:00 that evening.

     

  • The 2024 Hoosier Poet yearbooks have been ordered! For $78 you can secure one before we sell out! Scan the QR codes posted around the school to order online or see Mrs. Weisser in the treasurer's office or Ms. Emkow. The yearbooks are payable with cash, money order, or card for a small fee. Deposits will be accepted with full payments due at the time of distribution at the end of the year.

  • Faculty, staff, and student body, please take a moment and acknowledge Riley High School's paraprofessionals. Ms. Racz, Ms. Golubski, Mr. Morgan, Mr. Mitchem, Mrs. Belmarez, and Ms. Garren are rock stars.  Thank you so much for standing in the gap to support our RHS Scholars. 

     

  • Happy Paraprofessional Week and Disability Awareness Month!  We will wear Purple on Wednesday, March 20th.

     

  • The Class of 2024’s Dominic Koczan, Special Olympics, "The Vikings”, won both of their games at sectionals weekend and the Vikings will be advancing to state!  Congratulations Dom!

     

  • Brady Burkhart and Owen Liskey placed first in the State Sports Management for FBLA. They are national qualifiers for the FBLA.  Congratulations to both of you!

  • The Drama Club will hold auditions for their children's play, Charlotte's Web, on Wednesday, March 27th from 3:40 to 6 PM in the auditorium. All students are welcome. Audition packets are available in the main office. Please reach out to Mr. Mittleman for more information.

If you can’t make it to the workshops, you can call the IUSB office at (574) 520-4357 to make an appointment for FAFSA assistance.

  • Seniors, your last payment for the Senior Trip is due Thursday, April 18th. Some of you did not make your second payment, so payment in full must be made by that day to attend the trip.   • Support the Hoosier Poet Yearbook by indulging in some gourmet popcorn from Double Good!  For FOUR DAYS ONLY, you can purchase Double Good popcorn and make it a part of your favorite series binging or movie night! With your support, Yearbook will receive 50% of the proceeds to help in the printing of our spring supplement that is included with this year's yearbook. Double Good has all your favorite flavors from basic butter to various combinations of cheese, caramel, and spicy! They just released a new flavor: ranch! See any yearbook staff member, or Ms. Emkow between April 20th through April 24th for details.
