Riley School Improvement Goals

Goal 1 -- The Riley High School Community supports ALL students in pursuit of a High School Diploma and we will work to raise the Riley High School attendance rate by 2% each of the next three school years.

Goal 2 -- Reduce office discipline referrals, out-of-school suspensions, and expulsions by 50%.
ALL Riley High School students, and personnel will be trained in Culturally Responsive - Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (CR-PBIS) and in House Enrolled Act 1419 (HEA 1419)
Goal 3 -- All students at Riley High School will demonstrate improved academic performance in English 10.
80% of students will demonstrate reading comprehension through the use of standard English in speaking and writing by the end of the 10th grade.
80% of students will demonstrate the ability to construct, evaluate, edit and revise written responses by the end of the 10th grade.

Goal 4 -- All students at Riley High School will demonstrate improved academic performance in Algebra 1.
In order to achieve exemplary status 80% of students will pass the Algebra 1 ECA by the end of the 10th grade.
80 % of students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of algebraic concepts when applied to various problem-solving situations.
